Husband and Wife cakes (Xu Xe cakes)
Husband and Wife cake (or called Xu Xe cakes) is Traditional Vietnamese food. According to legend, the name of the cake is determined by king Ly Anh Tong. In the legend, when the king Ly Anh Tong fights, his wife bakes a cake to send her love to him. The King ate and feel well, he thought of husband and wife’s love, so he was named this cake is Husband and wife cake. Just because the name, therefore Husband and Wife cake are tied in pairs, represents the steadfast and faithful of husband and wife.

I have just come back home from work and enjoy one hot Chicken Ragout bowl with rice. Never better. Binh Chau Hot Natural Springs
One more Vietnam popular destinations for tourists is Binh Chau Hot Natural Springs. This is a tourist area with beautiful landscape ecology. My mom's bday with Vietnamese Street Food
Yesterday was my mom's bday. Bought many food, esp street food to create an amazing party for her. Today, I want to upload some photos and introduce a little about them. Hope you guys will love it. Firstly, we had a spectacular breakfast with Scrimp Wonton Soup and Chestnut Starch Sweet Soup.
Scrimp Wonton Soup. Using when it's hot cause it can make your new day is better.
Then, enjoy one of delicious dessert. It is called Chestnut Starch Sweet Soup. Really fresh and good for health.
In the afternoon, we bought Vietnamese red dragon fruit and some fried clams with vegetable back home to enjoy. That restaurant was so full. So it did not have place to us to sit. LOL ~
